MileFul
Mindful movement for body and mind. Yin Yoga, Community & Movement in all its forms.
Rooted in Yin yoga, Mileful is a space to slow down, soften and find balance in a busy world. Movement here is about more than distance, pace or performance. It’s about how we move, how we breathe and how we connect with our bodies.
Alongside this, there is a gentle exploration of movement in different forms, supporting the body not through pressure or performance but through awareness and care alongside a deeper connection to the world around us.
At the heart of it all is community. A space to move, to pause and to feel connected - whether that’s alongside others, in nature or simply within yourself.
All are welcome.
My Journey to Yin
Movement has always been an important part of my life.
I am a 50-hour certified Yin Yoga teacher, trained under the guidance of senior Yin teacher Tessa Rohrig, and continuing my studies towards my 200-hour yoga teacher training. With a background as a Level 2 Personal Trainer, and currently working towards my Level 3 qualification, I have deepened my understanding of anatomy and movement both in teaching and in my own practice.
Running has been a meaningful part of my journey. I have completed six marathons, including two sub-three-hour finishes, and for many years I loved the challenge of pushing for performance.
Over time, I realised that living a very yang-driven lifestyle meant my body needed balance. Finding Yin yoga offered something different. A slower, mindful practice that supports the joints and connective tissues, encourages the body to release tension and creates space to reconnect with myself and the world around me.
Through Mileful, I now share Yin yoga, mindful movement and a love of movement in all its forms, creating spaces that are supportive, sustainable, and connected.
Because ultimately, we all need both yang and yin in our lives.
